Working together to reduce document turnaround timesLandgate understands and recognises concerns posed by extended processing times, and the impact on our customers, including settlement agents, lawyers, and their clients. We are committed to improving turnaround times while maintaining the integrity of the Land Titles Register. Here’s what we’ve done to address concerns: Expanded team – eight new staff have been recruited and trained, with their impact expected to significantly reduce processing times February 2025. Digital innovation – collaborating with Electronic Lodgement Network Operators and Revenue WA to enable electronic lodgement of our remaining paper documents, including dutiable transfers, which will result in quicker processing times. 2024 Strata manager Annual Returns are now openUnder the provisions of the Strata Titles (General) Regulations 2019 (Regulations) all strata managers must submit an annual return by 31 March 2025. The information gathered through these returns plays an important role in shaping future policies that directly reflect the evolving needs of the strata industry. How to lodge the return Where to get assistance Further information The specific provisions are contained in: New Requisition notice launchedA new version of the Requisition Notice template went live on Monday, 13 January 2025, providing the option for our customers to book an in-person appointment with the assigned examiner at our Midland office if required. Booking an appointment ensures that the examiner most familiar with the dealing is available, should face-to-face service be required. Booked appointments could be used to seek further clarification or to submit requested information directly to the examiner if preferred. The ability to book appointments can only be made by contacting the examiner at the phone number or email address provided at the top of the Requisition Notice.
