Landgate has received an award for the highest number of blood donations in Western Australia by an organisation with 500-1000 employees from the State branch of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS).
In 2013 Landgate staff made 110 blood donations, which equates to saving 330 lives.
ARCBS Community Relations Officer Mark Bradstreet presented the award to Landgate's Acting Chief Executive Ian Hyde, and employee and regular donor Michelle Romani.
"Landgate's efforts along with many other organisations saved thousands of lives last year and goes a long way to helping us obtain the 27,000 donations we need in Australia every week," said Mr Bradstreet.
Ian Hyde said, "Landgate has been supporting its staff to donate blood since 1998 and this award is in recognition of their commitment to our local and broader Western Australian community."
"By providing these opportunities for our people, we know that their individual efforts impact the health and wellbeing of many Western Australians and we are proud of our continued association with the Australian Red Cross," Mr Hyde said.
