Strata manager annual returns

Strata managers provide vital services to strata companies and schemes in Western Australia. The requirement of all strata managers to complete an annual return is part of the State Government’s efforts to best support this industry and the consumers who rely on it.

2024 Strata Manager Annual Return survey now closed

Under the Strata Titles (General) Regulations 2019, strata manager’s annual returns are required to be submitted to Landgate by 31 March each year. The reporting period for the 2024 calendar year is now closed. Thank you for taking the time to lodge your returns.

  • Amendments to the Strata Titles Act 1985, which took effect on 1 May 2020, introduced the mandatory requirement for strata managers to lodge an annual return to Landgate with general information about the schemes they manage. 

  • This annual return is legislated as an annual requirement of strata managers until 2025, which is why it is referred to as the strata manager annual return.

  • Volunteer strata managers do not need to complete an annual return.

  • The information that strata managers provide through these annual returns will be used to inform Landgate about the industry and to help government develop quality policies on matters relating to the strata management industry.

The information provided in the return covers the period of 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.

2023 Strata Annual Return Findings

The 2023 Strata Manager Annual Return findings are now available. Landgate has compiled the results of the 2023 annual returns into an infographic comprising topline insights, as well as a more detailed presentation which includes analysis of responses across all sections of the survey.

The presentation provides an overview and analysis of the compiled data received by the strata management industry for the reporting period 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
